COVID - 19
The Canebrake Players has always followed the theatre motto “The show must go on.” However, COVID-19 has forced us to adjust that motto to “The show must go on… when it’s safe!”.
After much thought and discussion, we have decided to revise and reschedule our current 2020 season.
We had hoped to be able to present our 2020 spring show, Southern Fried Funeral, in our Summer show slot. Unfortunately, we feel that it is in everyone’s best interest to postpone that current production. Below is our revised schedule:
Annie December 2020
Children’s Show (TBA) Feb. 2021 Southern Fried Funeral Apr. 2021 Nunsense Summer 2021
Christmas Show (TBA) – Dec 2021
What does this mean for our Season ticket holders? Not only will we honor your 2020 Annie season ticket, but your purchase of our 2020 season tickets also purchases your 2021 tickets!
Your love and support through the years have allowed us to provide quality entertainment to our area and we are more committed than ever to continue to provide that same quality entertainment in the safest way we can.
